Objectives and results of the action		Overall objective: To support and enable freedom of public expression of opinions, attitudes and criticism by environmental civil society and environmental defenders fully protected by relevant laws and guaranteed human rights. Specific objectives: To analyse and identify potential areas of legal framework improvement, specifically for each targeted country, relevant to human rights/freedom of expression; To plan and conduct a wide-range public awareness campaign on the negative impact of the presently increasing pressure on environmental activists and CSOs; To raise individual and organizational capacities of the activists and CSOs in dealing with the pressure and protecting their human rights/freedom of expression; To initiate dialogue and cooperation mechanisms amongst the governmental and civil society sector on the issues of public participation in environmental decision making.
