If you’ve come to this page it means that you are interested in how the membership is organized in our association, and maybe you want to be our future member. Welcome!
Why are members important to us?
The intent of destroying the environment has taken on alarming proportions, and if such a trend is not changed radically soon, it threatens to change the way and conditions of life we’ve been accustomed to. The problem is so large and complex that it cannot be solved by small associations and rarely conscientious persons in institutions.
The current practice of civic activism in the world has shown us that a positive change is possible. However, the change depends on several factors, probably the decisive factor for involving a larger number of citizens in activities aimed at halting the destruction of the environment or supporting efforts to implement long-term viable practices.
Still, we are not an association that builds its credibility based on a large number of members, nor does it want it to be. We are not an association that wants to have a large number of memberships to collect membership fees to cover internal costs. So, we are not targeting a large number of members, but members who will actively engage in the realization of activities, no matter how modest the individual contribution is.
As stated in the text of our mission, we want our association to be primarily a space for exchanging attitudes and interactions between members of the association and people who are professionally engaged in the association.
If you want to devote your free time to environmental protection, you will work with others who have similar interests, skills and skills in transport, biodiversity, energy, waste and other issues related to environmental issues and sustainable living in the city and nature, and then you should think about becoming a member of the Centre for Environment!
