Description | Objectives: To enhance the collaborative capacity of SEESEP partners to engage in fact-based dialogue with key decision-makers to influence policy and practice, for a more sustainable energy system in South East Europe aligned with key EU policies and Directives including the 2020, 2030 targets and the 2050 Road Map. Results: ● Creation of an online energy model that shows alternatives to coal and other problematic energy sources viable in the region. ● Increased capacity of NGOs to understand the energy system and its complexity in order to carry out advocacy work more effectively. ● Contribution to a successful campaign to halt coal financing by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. ● Expansion of the Energy Community acquis to include updated EU environmental legislation. |
