The Center for Environment, in cooperation with the One Street organization from Arizona, and with the support of the Trust for Mutual Understanding and Heinrich Boll Foundation, held a workshop in Bugojno, from June 23 to 25, on the topic of planning and conducting urban campaigns.
At the workshop, four campaigns were presented, which were additionally supported by campaign managers from the previous phase of the project, who were also involved as mentors in this year’s project phase. The topics of the current campaigns range from the revitalization of the city’s greenery, through the installation of bicycle parking and sound signaling at intersections for the blind, to obtaining the use of a public facility for the needs of citizens’ associations. Campaign representatives come from Bugojno, Bijeljina, Drvar, and Banja Luka.
The leaders of the aforementioned campaigns had the opportunity to receive personalized guidelines for the creation of campaign plans during the workshop, and in the next phase of the project, financial support that will ensure the realization of the planned activities.
The final realization of project activities is planned for the end of October of the current year.
